Veld Homes Wins BILD Central Alberta Award for The Woodland Contemporary
Custom home recognized in Best Single Family Home category
RED DEER, Alberta – May 12, 2026 – Veld Homes has been named the winner of the 2026 BILD Central Alberta Award for Best Single Family Home, $800,000 to $1 million, for The Woodland Contemporary at Wilson’s Beach Estates.
The Woodland Contemporary was designed as a modern evolution of the traditional Craftsman style, aligning with subdivision guidelines while introducing clean lines, high-contrast exterior finishes and a minimalist design approach. Set on a 0.75-acre treed lot near Gull Lake, the home was positioned to maximize southern sun exposure while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding woodland.
